Services.
Parking at the hotel (tax free), change of money, safe your important things and documents (hotelsafe- tax free), wake up calls in wished time, gives informations about train-, flight- and buses times, about lift and snow conditions, weatherforecast, culturel and sport events in the nearest area, selling of postcards, maps, toiletries, etc., rental of ski equipment or mountain bike, make an order for tennis, squash, and other sports, order a taxi ,provide office services (copying and sending faxes), organize trips in the near and far area. You can use our new spa and relax centre with swimming pool including massage bench, back flow, water screan and waterspout. The spa centre offers herbal sauna, laconium {law temperature sauna}, klasic sauna and whirlpool too. You can choose from the big offer of massages. There is an offer of bath, cosmetic treatment and body treatment not only for woman in the spa centre.
Rooms.
Hotel Praha offers 27 single, double and triple-bedded guest rooms (total capacity of 70 beds) and three apartments. The guest rooms and apartments have been recently restored and furnished with comfortable wooden furniture in rustical style. All the rooms are equipped with TV/SAT, direkt-dial phone and radio/CD player. Orange colour tones of the private bathrooms with shower and WC add a cosy feeling to the rooms.
The lobby bar offers comfortable arm-chairs, excellent coffee and a large screen TV.
Restaurant.
At our hotel restaurant with a capacity of 70, guests enjoy a wide variety of dishes and drinks. We will prepare for you specialities of Czech and regional home-style cuisine as well as popular contemporary meals – italian pasta, favourite chicken breast, pork steaks, fish dishes or grilled specialities. Those who are fond of sweet meals and desserts will appreciate our fabulous dumplings with bilberries, fried apples with vanilla ice cream or a big sort of sherbets. Your gastronomic experience can be completed by a fine wine from our selection.
The original interior of the restaurant makes you feel the atmosphere of old Prague’s houses and streets. During winter times you can enjoy a nostalgic and cosy atmosfere sitting next to the historical silver stove. In summer months guests taste our grill specialities in the outdoor terrasse arranged with porch, wooden benches and offering a gorgeous view over the centre and the mountains panorama. The summer terrasse has a capacity of 50.
Spa & Relax.
The guests have a herbal sauna at their disposal, whose curative effects of herbs vapours help to heal e.g. asthma, chronic respiratory diseases or repeated bronchitis. It is recommended for smokers and persons that live in a polluted city environment as well.
Owing to its low temperature /38-40°C/ it can be visited also by persons suffering from cardiovascular problems.
The offer of LACONIUM /a low-temperature sauna - 48-50°C/- is absolutely unique, for the persons that cannot use the services of classical sauna procedures. In the laconium, a tangerine aromatic essence is inhaled, and the body is warmed up, the muscles are relaxed and a complete relaxation occurs. It is recommended to undergo two or three 15-minute cycles. Again, it is suitable for persons suffering from hypertension and cardiovascular problems as an alternative to a classical sauna.
The three saunas are supplemented by a classical Finnish sauna /85-90°C/ , whose beneficial effects have been known for centuries. During the sauna procedure, significant perspiration occurs, toxic matters are washed away from the body, the skin is congested and the whole body relaxes. By the means of regular sauna procedures and becoming hardened, the immunity of the organism is improved.
A novelty in our hotel is also a relaxation pool with massage banks, countercurrent, watershots, a water screen and other massage jets, which is suitable for children as well. Neither the popular massage whirlpool is missing.
Besides, you can choose form a wide range of massages form classical ones to massages with aroma oils to Thai massages, carried out by therapists from the Prague ZEN salon.
Not just for women, an offer of baths and cosmetic treatment of the skin as well as of the whole body is prepared.
A big emphasise is laid on a maximum use of natural resources. For the peat baths, pure peat without any other ingredients is used, which is mined in the Slavkov forest conservation area. It is characterized by excellent effects on rheumatic problems and the diseases of the locomotive apparatus. For the herbal baths, essential oils and tinctures from true herbs are used, which are added into the bath. We would also like to draw your attention to the Cleopatra's bath from whey made of the best alpine milk and a bath oil made of wild roses.
Cosmetical treatments are carried out with the use of the natural products of THALGO, a French company, which has been offering its products for already 40 years in the most luxurious spas in 90 countries around the world. Their patent are ground algae with extraordinary therapeutic and cosmetical effects.
